Private One-on-One Training
Duration: 5 private lessons, 1 hour each, with practical, hands-on learning.
Lesson 1: Floral Centerpiece Design
Learn how to create beautiful centerpieces for weddings, banquets, corporate dinners, and special celebrations. We will explore colour, texture, proportion, flower selection, containers, and floral mechanics, while considering coordination with reception personnel, table setting and the experience of the guests/
Lesson 2: Welcome Table Styling with Multiple Floral Containers
Discover how to combine flowers in different settings to create a cohesive and inviting welcome area. Learn how to coordinate floral arrangements with linens, tableware, candles, and other decorative elements, while balancing visual impact with practical considerations.
Lesson 3: Floral Arch Setup and Decoration
A floral arch can become the focal point of a wedding ceremony or special event. Learn about design planning, flower placement, structural considerations, installation logistics, and the practical details that help bring the vision to life.
Lesson 4: Large-Scale Floral Decorations on Stands
Explore how to create statement floral displays for entrances, stages, ceremonies, and larger venues. We will look at proportion, height, structure, material planning, stability, transportation, and setup considerations.
Lesson 5: Chair and Pew Decorations, Plus Event Planning Dos and Don’ts
Sometimes, it is the smallest details that make an event feel complete. Learn how to design chair flowers and pew decorations, then explore essential event planning practices, from timelines and budgeting to supplier communication, setup coordination, contingency planning, and common mistakes to avoid.
Fees
- Tuition Fee: $299 + GST for the complete program.
- Flowers & Supplies: Included. Students can take home the floral arrangements and creations they make during class.
- Learning Materials: A combination of fresh, artificial, dried, and preserved flowers will be used to cater different needs of customers and explore different floral design techniques.
- Tools & Structures: Essential tools and structures will be provided for use during class, including floral shears, arches, and display stands, linen etc.
